Peacock - turquoise

This creative embroidery kit features a peacock block printed onto black cotton fabric, included are stranded cotton threads along with beads and a piece of dupion silk - also included is a bonus print of the peacock - once you've worked the peacock once following the detailed step by step instructions, then why not work the second peacock in your own choice of threads and beads.

This is an ideal project to use up any skeins of threads or bags of beads left over from other projects!

Incuded in this kit:

2 pieces of black fabric printed with the peacock,

2 Skeins of DMC stranded cotton in turquoise and gold,

2 embroidery needles size 4 (large eye) and size 10 (small eye),

1 curved beading needle,

2 packets of beads in gold and turquoise,

Turquoise dupion silk 10" x 10",

Finished size 7" x 7 1/2" approximately.

To mount the completed peacock as shown you would also need 2 pieces of mount board, glue, calico, buttonhole thread and black sewing thread - full instructions on how to finish your peacock in this way are included in the instructions.

Please note - included in the kit are threads, beads and silk to fully complete 1 peacock as shown - for your second peacock you will pobably have to add materials from your own stash!
