Silver Crown on Purple Goldwork and Bead Embroidery Kit.

This is my Crown embroidery kit worked in traditional goldwork embroidery with beads, crystals and pearls.

This beautiful kit contains all materials and full detailed step by step instructions to produce this lovely design celebrating the King's coronation.

This kit is perfect for those who are new to goldwork - it uses 2 of the most basic goldwork embroidery techniques - couching (using a fine thread to stitch down a thicker thread) and chipping (cutting metal threads into small lengths and sewing them down like beads).

This kit includes:

Purple cotton with the design painted on, 

Cream cotton backing fabric,

Imitation jap,

Twist,

Bright check,

Rough purl,

Beads, pearls and rhinestones

Beeswax,

 4 inch Hoop.

Also includes: sewing thread, needles, ribbon for hanging, stitch plan, 'How to ...' goldwork stitch guide and full detailed illustrated step by step instructions.

You can work the design in the hoop provided, but you may find it easier to work it in  a larger hoop first, then transfer to the small hoop once completed.

The finished piece is approximately 3 x 3 inches
